Shift: Afternoon / Evening (12:00 PM
10:30 PM) Schedule: 4 days a week with rotating weekends and holidays Department: General Lab Processing & Customer Service (Send-outs) Location: In-office position (non-remote) Lab Area: Pre-Analytic Departments Duties Include: Receive, process, and distribute laboratory specimens Store, package, and ship specimens Provide results to caregivers This position does not perform phlebotomy Experience
Strong lab experience (preferred) Strong communication skills Call center and/or phone customer service experience Excellent communication and customer service abilities, especially in a call center or phone environment Proficient in various computer systems and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting You could be a great fit if you have experience in one of these areas: Clinical or Medical Laboratory Assistant (CLA), MLA, Processing Technician, Laboratory Tech, Lab Assistant, Pre-Analytical Assistant, Lab Support Representative, Specimen Processing, Customer Service Rep (CSR), etc. Why Join Us

Role Purpose: Performs a variety of pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory duties as assigned. Responsibilities Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency (e.g., sweat chloride collections, EKGs) Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate Sorts and processes routine and specific high-level specimens received by the labincluding multistep technical processing (e.g., Histology, Microbiology, Cytology) Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send-out tests Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and workload fluctuations Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 25 years Supervisor Experience: No Experience Preferred Requirements Education: Associate's Degree Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy Benefits and Legal Statement
