Athletic Assistant
The athletic assistant will perform duties relative to athletic events. They will provide supervision to athletic facilities and are responsible for the safety and welfare of those using athletic facilities. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Preferred Experience Evidence of basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse knowledge. Required Abilities and Skills Ability to operate a camcorder. Required Functional ability with microcomputers (laptop) or aptitude to learn. Required Ability to work in an active environment. Required Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required Must be willing and able to attend training as requested. Required Responsibilities
Act as a Line Judge for Men's and Women's Volleyball matches. Keep the scorebook for Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Men's Basketball. Act as the scoreboard operator for Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, and Lacrosse. Act as the shot clock operator for Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, and Lacrosse. Act as a ball runner for Men's and Women's Soccer, and Lacrosse. Act as penalty box keeper for Lacrosse. Act as an announcer for varsity home games. Run State Crew statistical program for varsity sports. Operate music system during varsity athletic events. Serve as camera operator to film games for varsity athletics. Be knowledgeable of Athletic Facilities rules and regulations. Perform laundry duties for Athletics, as needed. Maintain orderly appearance of Athletics Facilities. Assist with the setup, tear down, and game day management for varsity athletic events. Be knowledgeable of College emergency procedures and act accordingly, report any unusual activities to the supervisor. Physical Standards and Special Job Features
Ability to move freely around campus. Lifting/moving up to 30 lbs. Pay Transparency
