What you'll do: Manage the entire loan processing lifecycle, from initial application to closing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Analyze loan applications, including assessing creditworthiness, reviewing guidelines, and examining title commitments. Gather all necessary documentation (e.g., appraisals, employment verification, deposits) from clients and third parties. Prepare and submit loan files for underwriting and clear conditions as required. Provide excellent customer service to borrowers, loan officers, real estate agents, and vendors, acting as a primary point of contact. Support branch operations by assisting in operational tasks. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines, including wire and funding accuracy. Assist Loan Officers with pre-qualification, client communication, and administrative tasks. What you'll bring: 2+ years mortgage experience, Processor or LO Assistant role (preferred) Demonstrated Encompass experience Solid knowledge and understanding of conventional, government (FHA/VA), and Jumbo loan requirements. Solid knowledge and understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations.
