Pearl City, HI (On-Site/Office) Duties: Manage and delegate resources to execute complex projects; working with the Execution Lead, provide recommendations for improved resource management at the project level. Support and apply rigorous security while performing complex tasks with multiple dependencies, including installation planning activities, etc. Monitor all execution team activities throughout, maintaining awareness of availability status, problems confronted, and courses of action taken through periodic management meetings. Develop briefs and communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders up to the customer level, including ship's Commanding Officers, fleet type commanders, flag officers and SES personnel. Use discretion and independent judgment to continuously assess, recommend alternatives to complex installation issues and interpret project status, maintain schedule, plan and execute risk mitigation efforts. Conduct daily shipboard safety inspections and makes on-the-spot recommendations to correct unsatisfactory and unsafe conditions. Requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Oral Communication - Expresses information effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information. Education: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
