Engineer I
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division. This is a full-time position located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants due to the Secret Clearance requirement. Required Qualifications/Skills: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from an ABET-accredited school. 0-6 years of experience with aircraft systems, instrumentation, or testing (such as flight control, sensors, displays, navigation, or communication systems). Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for airborne instrumentation systems. Understanding of electrical analysis concepts and implementation strategies. Familiarity with military aviation platforms, including electrical interface and system integration. Responsibilities: Providing technical advice and serving as the technical interface between government customers and commercial vendors. Designing and creating aircraft instrumentation systems that integrate various airborne systems. Developing and updating documentation for system integration, flight test support, and operational use. Collaborating with electrical engineers, flight test engineers, mechanical engineers, and systems integrators. Providing technical support to flight operations teams.
