Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement efforts. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the quality and performance of our products and operations. **This position is 2nd shift M-F 11am-8pm** ***Primarily based in Palo Alto, California with some support (~15%) in San Jose, California*** What You Will Do: Ensure compliance with quality assurance and control protocols, standard operating procedures, and methods for inspecting and processing materials into finished products, while maintaining complete documentation. Adhere to internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards to maintain high levels of product quality and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with engineering teams to review production schedules and ensure proper product acceptance. Support manufacturing by initiating nonconforming reports, assisting with the evaluation and resolution of nonconforming product and process-related issues. Regularly engage on the manufacturing floor to identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and support validation activities. Act as the key interface between Quality Assurance and cross-functional departments, driving product quality improvements. Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the equipment calibration program. Leverage automated tools and real-time dashboards to collect, analyze, and interpret quality data. What You Will Have: Associate's degree and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and experience with ERP systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data. Familiarity with quality control and assurance principles. Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage time and stay organized. Experience with automated data collection tools and quality data analysis. Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements. Ability to adapt to changing manufacturing needs and continuously improve processes.
