Senior Logistics Analyst - Maintenance Planner

TCS is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst (Logistician II or III) to support NAVAIR Aircraft Gun Systems at NSWC Crane. This position will serve as a Maintenance Planner, responsible for developing and managing comprehensive maintenance plans using defense logistics tools and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics support analysis and maintenance task analysis, and will contribute to lifecycle sustainment planning for aircraft-mounted gun systems. Essential Functions: Develop and manage maintenance plans using Slicwave (or equivalent) software. Conduct all phases of the maintenance planning process in accordance with applicable standards. Review parts breakdown structures, including part numbers and National Stock Numbers (NSNs). Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) to inform maintenance planning and lifecycle support. Conduct Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) to define detailed support and sustainment requirements. Interpret FMECA reports to identify system-level failures and modes of failure. Ensure planning efforts align with NAVAIR and DoD maintenance guidance and documentation standards. Communicate status and outcomes of maintenance plans with senior leadership and stakeholders. Experience and Skills: At least 5 years of related logistics and maintenance planning experience. Experience using Slicwave or EAGLE maintenance planning software. In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning standards, guidance, and logistics handbooks. Strong understanding of the product life cycle and its impact on maintenance support. Experience interpreting technical reports and engineering documentation. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication and reporting skills, especially when engaging senior leadership. Highly organized and process-oriented with attention to detail. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience supporting NAVAIR or DoD aviation maintenance programs. Familiarity with military logistics systems and technical publications. Understanding of configuration management and sustainment planning. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in office and logistics support environments. Must pass all required background and security checks. Travel: Up to 10% CONUS travel may be required.
