Mobile Equipment Driver Examiner
The primary purpose of the MOBILE EQUIPMENT DRIVER EXAMINER, WG-5701-10, is to perform a variety of duties relating to motor vehicle operation and safety. California National Guard membership is required: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Compatible Military Assignment and Grade are required. Military technicians must be assigned to a military position in the same unit which they are employed or, in a unit that is supported by the employing activity. Military technicians must hold the military grade specified for the position. Priority areas of consideration are: Current California National Guard employees who are serving on a permanent/indefinite/temporary appointment. Current California National Guard members. Current military members of the Air Force/Army National Guard, Air Force/Army Reserve or Air Force/Army Active Duty. Military grades: E-5 or E-6. Recruitment/relocation incentive is not authorized. Relocation costs are not authorized. Must maintain appropriate level of security clearance. Must wear appropriate military uniform including required grooming standards. Must maintain a compatible military unit, grade and job assignment as required by current directives. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must have a valid state driver's license. Qualifications: General experience: Possess experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. Ability to instruct, ability to provide production support services, operation of motor vehicles, vehicle maintenance.
