Retail to support the Senior HR Manager in managing human resources functions for our retail stores. This role will provide administrative and operational HR support, assist with recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits, offboarding, and HR data audits. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Assist with job postings and hiring coordination. Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and employee onboarding. Ensure new hires receive proper orientation materials and access to company systems. Maintain employee records, HRIS updates, and documentation. Serve as the first point of contact for basic employee inquiries related to benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and fringe benefits (e.g., employee discounts). Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communication. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Track timekeeping, attendance, and policy adherence. Conduct HR audits as needed to ensure accurate employee records, policy compliance, and adherence to labor laws. Assist in coordinating and tracking HR training programs for employees and managers. Maintain records of mandatory training completions (e.g., harassment prevention). Coordinate the offboarding process for employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Ensure final pay, benefits termination, and system access removal are handled properly. Assist managers with separation procedures and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate HRIS and Payroll records and generate HR reports as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-4 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or a fast-paced environment. HR Certification required; knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and HRIS systems. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Location & Office Structure:
This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. On call as needed and subject to change without notice as per company guidelines. Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $68,640 to $80,000; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position. Benefits and Perks:
