Job Opportunity: Subcontractor Management
Successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a subcontractor through the procurement to pay process. Management of existing subcontracts to include, cost, schedule, and technical performance. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Responsibilities include negotiating and holding suppliers accountable to established terms and conditions of the subcontract. Scope of work may include development, production, and global sustainment contracting with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level. Other basic skills required include: SAP. Advanced to expert level in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills. Desired Skills: Demonstrated experience with Commercial Acquisitions. Demonstrated exceptional FAR/DFAR compliance performance TINA negotiation. Cross-functional knowledge of supplier quality, engineering as it relates to subcontract management. Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers, and other external personnel on significant matters. Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities.
