BW Flexible Systems is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to grow our business in the Southwest territory by securing new machinery orders for our packaging solutions. In this role, you'll develop and implement business strategies to expand our client base and foster customer loyalty while working within our global corporate structure. This position requires heavy travel & the identified employee must reside in or near Dallas, TX & will support the Southwest territory including TX, OK, NM, AZ & surrounding states. Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales quota for BW Flexible Systems packaging machinery (scales, bag fillers, sealers, palletizers, and integrated system solutions) Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers Analyze industry and client data to create effective account strategies Provide detailed customer requirements to develop accurate and timely sales proposals Track competitive landscape and customer needs to enhance our market position Resolve customer claims and complaints following company processes Maintain accurate records in CRM software for all customer interactions and opportunities Develop working knowledge of relevant finance mechanisms for the region Promote additional company services (TCO, parts, training, field service) Identify opportunities and facilitate product demonstrations Forecast monthly/quarterly sales activity and execute territory business plans Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering (or technical degree with proven industry experience) preferred 5+ years of B2B capital equipment sales experience Solid knowledge of packaging machinery used in food, chemical, animal feed, milling, B2B and CPG industries 3+ years of experience with complex systems sales process and/or packaging machinery Key account management experience with major CPG companies Experience in packaging machinery wholesale business model working with distributors and agents Skills & Competencies
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills Strong oral, written, and presentation communication abilities Professional, customer-centric approach Goal-oriented with strong negotiation skills Electrical/mechanical aptitude for machine applications Excellent organizational and time management capabilities Self-motivated with ability to execute sales strategies Detail-oriented with technical proficiency (MS Office, CRM, AutoCAD viewer) Valid driver's license and good driving record Must reside in or near Dallas, TX with proximity to an airport Join our team and be part of our commercial excellence journey while helping customers discover solutions that meet their packaging needs!
