Material Handler
Looking for a Material Handler in a headphone manufacturing and distribution facility. You'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the production and shipping process. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of product quality, timely order fulfillment, and seamless coordination between departments. Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Unloading: Receive deliveries of raw materials, electronic components, and packaging supplies. Unload shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks and verify contents against purchase orders. Component Handling: Safely transport delicate items to workstations or storage areas. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of both raw materials and finished headphones using warehouse management software. Conduct regular stock audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Line Support: Deliver components to assembly lines based on production requests. Respond quickly to material requests to minimize production downtime. Packaging & Shipping: Carefully picking finished headphone units, label them appropriately, and prepare for domestic or international shipment. Order Fulfillment: Pick products accurately according to customer orders, ensuring correct models, accessories, and packaging are included. Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and properly handling equipment and materials. Documentation: Maintain thorough records of all material movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments, to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance. Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications (e.g., forklift license) are a plus. Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing or a consumer goods warehouse preferred, especially in handling fragile or high-value products. Technical Skills: Familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is advantageous. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling materials and fulfilling orders is critical. Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage material flow and meet production and shipping deadlines. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain an orderly workspace. Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm Must be able to train 3-4 weeks 5am- 1:30pm $19.50 an hour Santa Ana, Ca.
