Athletic Coaches - Great Hearts Academies in Arizona (2025-2026 Academic Year)
All Great Hearts Academies offer a robust program of athletics as a part of their commitment to the idea that participation in athletics is co-curricular and all Great Hearts students would benefit from the development of habits and virtue that comes as students are guided toward competitive greatness. The team sports offered at Great Hearts Academies include the following (not all campuses will field all sports): Fall: Varsity, JV, Freshman Programs: Tackle Football, Cross Country, Volleyball, Golf, Swimming Junior High Programs: Tackle Football, Cross Country, Volleyball, Golf Winter: Varsity, JV, Freshman Programs: Basketball and Soccer Junior High Programs: Soccer, Softball, Baseball Spring: Varsity, JV, Freshman Programs: Softball, Baseball, Track and Field, Tennis Junior High Programs: Basketball, Track and Field, Tennis If you are interested in coaching for any of the Great Hearts Academies any time during the academic year, please submit your application here. All Athletic Directors will have access to your application and will contact you should a position arise that might fit your qualifications. Great Hearts hires seasonal athletic coaches on a rolling basis. Athletic Directors at each academy are largely autonomous in the hiring processes for their campuses. They discern for themselves the candidates of interest, and contact, interview, and make offers to those candidates per their own hiring timetables. Candidates may hear from one or more Athletic Directors and/or Great Hearts staff member(s) shortly after submitting their application, or they may not hear anything for a number of months. Please note that all coaches will be required to have a fingerprint clearance card before beginning work.
