CCLI is looking for an OPWDD RN Administrator with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others by providing "care with dignity and life with hope." The RN Administrator is responsible for the clinical and behavioral care provided to 103 individuals residing in 12 homes across Long Island. Responsibilities

Directly supervise clinical staff consisting of Registered Nurses and Behavioral Services in daily program operations including staff scheduling, evaluating, counseling, training and disciplining, when necessary Conduct monthly clinical staff meetings for Registered Nurses offering ongoing training and support Direct assignments and determine schedules for On Call RN's Provide 24/7 on-call coverage as back up for Registered Nurses when others are unavailable. Ensuring prompt communication/documentation of all triaged calls as well as nursing visits with follow ups on hospitalizations, rehabs, off site facilities, as needed Compliance

Ensure compliance with OPWDD Tuberculosis regulations, including, reviewing and monitoring test documentation for new and existing staff Oversee Full AMAP classes, including scheduling, facilitating and developing/revising training materials according to OPWDD requirements Oversee clinical database for various functions (AMAP certification, Clinician trainings, medication errors) reviewing and approving data to be entered to ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations Provide clinical staff guidance when conducting internal audits of medical records Partner with Quality Assurance Coordinator providing necessary information for investigations, compliance and implement clinical corrective actions, as needed Active member of the IRC and HRC committees, offering suggestions/recommendations for improvements and ensure timely implementation/follow up on approved clinical next steps Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and valid NYS Registered Nurse License, required 5 years of developmental disabilities field experience with demonstrated clinical skills and knowledge of OPWDD regulations, preferred 3-5 years of RN staff management, preferred Valid NYS Driver's License. + ability to travel to all residences located across Long Island, as need, (position is based out of Amityville, LI) Comfortable with 24/7 On Call availability This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
