Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)
TCS is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to lead the development and delivery of high-quality training for the SOF Small Arms Training contract. This role ensures instructional effectiveness, supervises training staff, and upholds contract performance using ADDIE methodologies. Essential Function: Considered to be part of the program leadership team, our ISD will oversee the development lifecycle in accordance with prescribed ADDIE methodologies in the delivery of the highest quality of instruction in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Small Arms Training contract. Assign tasks to subordinate personnel, supervise ongoing training evolutions, student feedback, instructor evaluations, and managing overall contract performance as it relates to Instructional Systems Design. Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the content delivered, including technical issues and internal business processes Experience and Skills: Possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) at time of proposal submission. Possess a minimum of 5 years of instructional development experience. Possess a minimum of 3 years of developing Computer Based Training (CBT). Possess a minimum of 2 years of developing training using Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM). Experience supporting projects similar in scope and complexity to the requirements of this contract, including managing and leading geographically dispersed staff of varying skill levels. Successfully pass USG mandated Medical Screening Psychological evaluation (in accordance with commercially available screening guide such as the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Inventory) Basic First Aid Certification (within the past 1-year) Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification Ability to validate compliance with the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Willing to relocate/work in Crane, IN. Desired Qualifications: Former Special Operations Forces senior enlisted or junior officer. Basic Instructor certification (i.e. ABIC or equivalent). Familiarity with the ADDIE instructional design lifecycle. Proven track record managing episodic training events and personnel.
