HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department through a variety of organizational strategies, such as developing company policies and practices, administering benefits, maintaining personnel records, performing routine HCM tasks, supporting performance management functions, training managers to facilitate HR functions, and supporting employment law practices. Principal Job Responsibilities:
Maintain employee personnel records as required by law and various regulatory agencies. Performs routine tasks required to facilitate human resource programs including but not limited to benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Provide HR support to managers on HR policy and procedures, balancing needs with best practices. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Supports FMLA, Leaves, Benefits and 403b reconciliation. Documents HR internal best practices and process workflows. Creating how to guides for future training and HR team members. Provides support through staff-wide technology solutions. Performs other duties as assigned. The DNA of a Gateway Leader

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Preferred Education/Certification(s):
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
