Network Engineer with proven experience in Ruckus, Gigamon, and Aruba technologies to support a hybrid mission-critical environment in San Diego, CA. Active Secret Clearance required. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks utilizing Ruckus wireless infrastructure, Aruba networking solutions, and Gigamon traffic visibility tools. Analyze and optimize network performance with a focus on uptime, security, and scalability. Apply DoD-compliant security controls and support RMF processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues; support Tier III escalations. Collaborate with internal technical teams and government stakeholders. Maintain technical documentation for system diagrams, configurations, and compliance audits. Required Qualifications: Active Secret security clearance. Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise or government network engineering. Strong hands-on knowledge of Ruckus, Aruba, and Gigamon hardware and tools. Understanding of DoD network architecture, RMF, and cybersecurity best practices. Experience using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as ACMP, Gigamon Certified Professional, Security+, CCNA/CCNP, or Ruckus certification. Prior experience supporting federal agencies or defense installations. Exposure to SD-WAN or hybrid-cloud networking.
