Network/Cloud Architect
Location: 3/2 Hybrid arrangement; Office located in downtown Pittsburgh, PA Type: Direct Hire Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card holder only; Visa Sponsorship not available A.C. Coy is assisting a local client in their search for a full-time Network/Cloud Architect. This individual will be responsible for new and existing technical network platforms, with a focus on performance, security, scalability, resiliency, and automation. This will include both architectural support for on-premises solutions, as well as providing direction and support for the transition to cloud-based platforms. Lead and manage project teams in designing network solutions and translating network requirements into plans for both IT and business units, with a focus on network security Provide network reviews of technology environments and network standards delivery Lead the integration of new and existing technical components safely and smoothly into the company's operating environment for on-premises solutions as well as cloud integrations Lead engagements with business units to define and integrate business requirements Drive implementation of network standards and practices to support a strong security posture Lead and manage the network program's SAFE agile planning activities Identify process and operational improvements to extract further value from existing network security investments and to meet dynamic compliance and regulatory needs Advise senior leadership on information protection and network principles Lead the company's efforts toward network modernization and continued transformation to the cloud Drive the delivery of the business continuity process (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) processes across network components Lead the design and implementation of advanced network architectures to support cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and security for corporate digital transformation initiatives Qualifications
Required: 10 years of experience in architecting, designing, maintaining, and managing enterprise infrastructure Strong knowledge/experience in network design for both cloud platforms and on-premises Expert-level knowledge in the areas of network security, architecture, design, and implementation Strong experience in areas of IT Risk, change management, computer operations, information security administration, and network administration Expertise in the setup and delivery of network protocols and cryptography Strong knowledge of the tools/practices used for developing and publishing policies, procedures, and metrics Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field Industry certification from Network manufacturers (Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto) Cloud infrastructure expertise utilizing Azure
