Mortgage Production Manager

This position is onsite Monday - Friday, and located in Orlando, Florida. Job Summary

The Mortgage Production Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Mortgage Branch Manager by overseeing the daily flow and progress of loans through the pipeline. This role ensures operational efficiency, timely closings, and high levels of customer satisfaction. While not directly responsible for personnel management, the Production Manager collaborates cross-functionally to drive performance, resolve complex loan scenarios, and maintain visibility into loan backlog status. Primary Job Responsibilities

Pipeline Oversight & Backlog Management: Provide strategic oversight of the loan pipeline by partnering with internal teams and builder stakeholders to ensure accurate loan backlog visibility during weekly builder meetings. Proactively drive loans through the pipeline to support timely construction starts and closings. Loan Structuring & Problem Solving: Apply sound judgment and creative problem-solving to structure complex or initially declined loan scenarios. Collaborate with Mortgage Financing Advisors, Loan Consultants, Underwriters, and Product Specialists to identify viable paths to approval in alignment with lending guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with centralized operations and internal mortgage teams to align on goals, remove obstacles, and streamline processes. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and influence key branch performance metrics including capture rate, retention, customer service, compliance, and financial goal attainment. Customer & Stakeholder Service: Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and transparent loan process. Culture & Accountability: Foster a culture of accountability, solution-oriented thinking, and continuous improvement to ensure the team consistently meets performance targets and navigates operational challenges effectively. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support branch success and operational excellence including serving as a back-up for pre-approvals and supporting Mortgage Financing Advisor functions. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Must be able to obtain and maintain mortgage licenses in multiple states Minimum 3 years' prior mortgage banking industry experience required Minimum of 1-2 years' prior leadership experience preferred Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

Valid Driver's License as driving is an essential function of this position An active NMLS License is preferred Must be able to obtain and maintain mortgage license Required Skills/Knowledge

Loan origination experience. Expert ability to solve complex loan structures Builder affiliate experience is preferred Ability to communicate actionable and valuable information to various dependent parties at different levels of the organization in a clear, effective, and professional manner Experience in team management and leadership Effective understanding of mortgage lending processes, regulations, and industry trends Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve operational excellence Ability to proficiently collaborate with diverse leadership teams spanning different functions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Ability to be proactive and self-motivated to set and achieve goals Must have excellent customer service acumen and presentation skills Must possess a thorough understanding of the Mortgage Financing Advisor role and be prepared to perform all associated duties as needed to provide backup coverage. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Will possess excellent time management skills. Have the ability to manage multiple priorities, possess analytical and problem-solving skills Will possess strong financial acumen Bilingual skills are highly desirable. Additional Information

This position is subject to the CFPB Loan Originator Compensation Rule This position is office-based, requiring in-office attendance five days a week to foster team collaboration and ensure direct customer engagement Candidate should be open to flexible scheduling options and have the ability to adapt to change as needed This position consists of a 5-day work week that requires occasional weekend and/or evening hours This position will require occasional driving to sales communities across the Division
