Interim - Director of Community Relations

Rogerson House, a mission-driven memory care and assisted living community in Boston, is seeking an experienced senior living sales professional for a 34 month interim role to lead our sales efforts. This is a key opportunity for someone who thrives in driving census growth and is energized by meaningful work in a nonprofit setting. This interim leader will be responsible for managing all inbound inquiries, cultivating relationships with prospective residents and families, and guiding them through the move-in process. A strong focus on proactive sales, follow-up, and collaboration with internal teams is essential. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is passionate about helping older adults, and can bring energy and strategic focus to support our team and boost occupancy during this critical period. What You'll Bring: 5+ years of successful senior living sales experience; experience with memory care preferred A proven ability to build trust, understand customer needs, and close sales Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills High degree of emotional intelligence and compassion for older adults and families Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed Available to begin by late August or earlier Key Responsibilities: Own and drive the sales process for both assisted living and adult social day program Manage inquiries, conduct tours, build relationships, and maintain timely follow-up Maintain a strong referral pipeline by engaging with the local community and professional partners Accurately communicate Rogerson House's services and value proposition Coordinate all aspects of the move-in process including assessments, paperwork, and internal team alignment Ensure a seamless experience for new residents and their families Provide outreach and representation in community settings as appropriate Collaborate with the Executive Director and internal teams on census development strategy Support respite and day program sales as needed
