Job Opportunity: Van Driver (Part-Time)

Permanent part-time position. Passenger van drivers will operate non-Commercial Driver License (CDL) vehicles to include, 15 passenger van, mini-van, and other City vehicles to transport program participants to and from various residential, medical, social, school, special event and/or childcare facilities and environments. Drivers with a CDL-passenger endorsement license will also operate ADA passenger vehicles. Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude for use of initiative or independent judgment. Senior Services Division Work Schedule:
8:00AM-1:30PM (with 30 Min Unpaid Lunchbreak) Youth Services Division Work Schedule:
11:30AM-5:00PM (with 30 Min Unpaid Lunchbreak) Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one or more years licensed passenger transport driving experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. Must have CPR and basic first aid training or ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment. Prefer candidates with the following license and experience: 1. Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger Endorsement In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
