Recruiting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Assistant to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience sourcing and recruiting for professional positions within the government, oil & gas, construction, and engineering sectors. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS). Key Responsibilities:

Source, screen, and pre-qualify candidates for a variety of professional positions. Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and other sourcing methods to attract top talent. Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS. Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions to attract qualified applicants. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and priorities. Support onboarding processes and ensure all pre-employment documentation is completed. Track recruiting metrics and provide reports as needed. Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience sourcing and recruiting in government, oil & gas, construction, or engineering industries. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases. Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, recruitment tools, and employment best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously. Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Preferred Skills:

Experience coordinating large-scale recruitment efforts. Knowledge of compliance requirements in recruitment processes. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
