This position is eligible for hybrid-remote work following an initial training/onboarding period that will require an onsite presence. The duties of this position are primarily performed at the Salem HQ office located at 4034 Fairview Industrial Drive SE., Salem, OR. Opportunity awaits, apply today! As a Fiscal Analyst 1 (Budget Analyst) in Salem, Oregon, you will serve as a budget analyst for ODFW. Duties include: Coordinate the budget process used for planning and execution of agency programs' biennial operating budgets Assist in providing suggestions regarding agency policy Provide basic, or as directed, consultation and guidance to agency management on budget issues The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. What we are looking for: Minimum qualifications: Option 1: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related degree (such as Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics or other analytical or technical degree). OR

Option 2: Three years experience in management, policy or program analysis, or technical-level budgetary support activities. Desired attributes: Experience applying cost allocation principles Experience tracking and updating budgets Experience projecting impact of actions on revenue and expenditures Experience with Microsoft Excel, OBIEE, SFMS, ORBITS/ORPICS, Workday reports, and Power BI Experience budgeting for grants and federal matching funds Experience with the State of Oregon budget process, system, principles and practices Experience with complex budgeting and accounting systems Application details and instructions: Resume and cover letter are required, please attach to application. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
