Location: Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Full time Job Responsibilities: File creation and maintenance Coverage analysis and determination Liability and damages investigation and evaluation Help prepare various reports as required Follow up on information needed from brokers, adjusters, underwriters and insureds Developing presentations and marketing material Other duties as directed by the department manager Additional Job Duties: Obtain all state insurance adjuster licenses Obtain the AIC (Associate in Claims) or other insurance designation Requirements: B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university 5 years aviation claims handling experience preferred Pilot's license and/or A&P preferred Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills Advanced proficiency in computer applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Databases Leadership skills Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi task/prioritize A self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset Starr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
