We are seeking an Alumni Coordinator to join our team in Cathedral City, CA. The Alumni Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining lasting connections with former clients, supporting their continued recovery journey. This role involves outreach, event planning, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure alumni stay engaged and empowered. Position details: Reports to: National Director of Alumni Schedule: Full-time, schedule to be discussed during the interview Location: On-site presence required in Cathedral City, CA Compensation: $70,000 - $72,000 salary Key responsibilities: Conduct outreach to Banyan alumni via phone, text, email, and social media to provide ongoing support, address concerns, and maintain engagement. Facilitate alumni groups, chapter meetings, discharge follow-ups, and sober community events to promote continued recovery. Collaborate with clinical staff, admissions, and family services to support alumni needs and re-admission processes when necessary. Manage the Alumni social media page and maintain communication platforms such as bulletin boards and assignment boards. Coordinate and build relationships with vendors to plan and execute alumni events in partnership with directors. Accurately document all alumni interactions in the CRM and report critical updates to the National Director. Preferred qualifications: Personal experience in recovery, preferred. Professional experience in substance abuse and mental health field and/or sales, preferred. Experience with KIPU and Salesforce, preferred. Strong communication and emotional resilience: Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues, and maintain emotional composure in challenging situations. Problem-solving & critical thinking: Assess complex situations and develop effective solutions while maintaining accurate documentation. Flexibility & cultural sensitivity: Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, respecting cultural differences.
