17 This Position Reports To
Quality Manager Your Role and Responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for:
Assist in design and testing engineering solutions.
Perform basic analysis of engineering and quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support documentation and technical reporting of engineering KPIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and continuous improvement.
Assist with creating Power BI dashboards, digitize engineering tools and processes.
Participate in team meetings and project planning. Qualifications for the Role
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions. Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
