Shift Supervisor

Your Role: Shift (3rd): Sunday-Thursday 10:30 pm-7 am. Oversee packaging operations across a range of formatsfrom bulk pumping to bench-top pipette fillingensuring aseptic techniques, filtration, and quality compliance. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to packaging operators; lead shift operations in the supervisor's absence and support team development. Coordinate cross-functional efforts with manufacturing and planning to meet deadlines for time-sensitive and high-priority products. Support quality and safety systems, including deviation investigations, document control, ISO compliance (13485/9001), and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize SAP and computerized systems for batch documentation, order tracking, equipment status, and fill line reporting to ensure operational flow. Champion process improvements and automation initiatives, including 6S, operational excellence, validation efforts, and capital project recommendations. Participate in emergency response, technical support, and new staff onboarding, contributing to a safe, efficient, and audit-ready work environment. Physical Attributes: Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs independently, and perform moderately physical tasks; includes overhead lifting and manual dexterity. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or hazardous chemicals. Moderate noise level; specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and focus adjustments. Adhere to safety protocols while working in environments with potential exposure to hazards. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years' experience of chemical packaging, manufacturing, or laboratory experience. Preferred Qualifications: College coursework in chemistry or other scientific field. 1+ years chemical weighing experience. 1+ years' experience in ISO/GMP regulated environment. Experience leading teams or projects. Written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot automated and semi-automated filling, capping, and labeling equipment. Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to guide, train, and coach co-workers. Understanding of safe chemical handling practices and methods. Good time management/organizational skills. Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office. Mechanical skills with ability to use pumps, electronic balances, and material handling equipment. Experience leading lean manufacturing or operational excellence projects. Strong math skills including metrics and conversions. Good grasp of RCA and CAPA. Ability to work well in a team setting.
