Accounts Payable Lead

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Lead to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software. Duties and Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices for payment in accordance with company policies. Manage vendor accounts, including reconciliation of statements and resolving discrepancies. Maintain the general ledger by recording debits and credits accurately. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. Assist in preparing tax-related documents as necessary. Utilize accounting software such as UltiPro and ADP for data entry and reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline accounts payable processes. Required Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Workday and ADP is a plus. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and internal collaboration. ADP and Workday experience preferred. Experience in high growth company (e.g high transaction volume or multi entity) $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year This position reports to the Controller Benefits

The position involves everyday risk and discomforts, which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, training rooms, and other DHS Sites. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated. The position requires contact with staff at all levels throughout the organization. There are also external organization relationships that may be a part of the work of this individual. All medical services shall be provided according to medically accepted community standards of care. The employee shall provide evidence of a recent (within the past twelve (12) months) health assessment that includes a PPD and/or chest x-ray results.
