Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. Why Join Wells? At

Duties Process and review invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation is attached. Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including debits and credits. Assist in payroll management by ensuring timely processing of payroll-related expenses. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls related to accounts payable. Utilize accounting software, such as Quicken or ADP, for efficient processing of payments. Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as needed for management review. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth financial operations. Qualifications Degree in Accounting or similar industry Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices. Familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus. Proficient in using accounting software; experience with Quicken or ADP is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
