Program Planning And Control (Ppc) Project Coordinator
The individual will serve as Program Planning And Control (PP&C) Project Coordinator for Moon to at NASA HQ. The primary responsibility for this position will be to provide project support and coordination for the PP&C client as well as provide administrative support and coordinate various tasks. Responsibilities: Manage schedules and planning of future leadership retreats and activities for PP&C Facilitate meetings on upcoming actions and provide summaries of high-level outcomes for the PP&C office. Coordinate & optimize solutions to organize notes and actions pertaining to ESDMD Leadership. Coordinate strategies on organization updates due to agency changes and/or internal and external factors. Provides coordinator support to high-level leadership including coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Provide executive administrative support including action tracking, and providing meeting and event support. Provides mission-directorate wide travel management support and travel budget reconciliation for the Explorations Systems Development Mission Directorate (ESDMD) Business Office. Maintain internal tracking system on change management areas for the future. Provide recommendations on systems or ways to modify systems currently used. Additional projects will involve coordinating actions with government and international personnel. Support budget activities including supporting monthly performance activities. Provide support to on integration activities related to risk and schedule. Requirements: Previous experience in the government or aerospace industry will be viewed favorably. Previous experience with Concur Government Edition (CGE) is critical. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products is critical, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Skilled at using website applications to coordinate activities, store files, and enter data as needed. Experience with SharePoint is necessary. Should possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines. The individual will be expected to learn general information about the major projects of the office and key terminology. A proactive and flexible demeanor is greatly preferred, to successfully support this dynamic, high-profile office. Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new processes. Must be able to prioritize work and know how to communicate time estimates when there are competing priorities; can status assignment progress. Some travel may be necessary -- locally and in US. Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a government issued Secret clearance. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of relevant work experience. NASA experience preferred.
