Essential Duties Driving a 14-passenger bus between the Meadows parking lot and the Gondola Square transportation center in a safe manner Daily Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections Provide excellent guest services (i.e. resort information, directions, etc.) Provide traffic control of vehicles entering and leaving parking lots, ensuring safe, steady flow, and pedestrian safety; manage parking lots efficiently by parking cars in straight, tight rows Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications 2 years of previous work history/education required Must read, write, and speak clearly in English Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards Must enjoy people, driving, and be outgoing and personable Must present a professional, well-groomed appearance Adhere to all safety policies Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Company's Service Excellence standards Post offer confirmation required of driving history (past 3 years, must be free of moving violations) Must have valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards Education Requirements Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent Physical Requirements Must be minimum 18 years of age Must be able to sit for long periods of time Must read, write, and speak clearly in English Working Conditions Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions. Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
