As the Activities Assistant Director, you will assist in development and oversee a comprehensive recreational program that promotes social engagement, physical activity, and mental stimulation for our residents. Your role is essential in fostering a warm, vibrant, and community-centered atmosphere within our facility. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and implement engaging recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to residents' physical and cognitive abilities. Develop a monthly calendar of activities, including social events, music, arts & crafts, group exercise, pet therapy, and community outings. Encourage resident participation and ensure programs align with their interests and abilities. Supervise and train activity assistants and volunteers. Work closely with the nursing team, rehabilitation staff, and social services to support residents' holistic care plans. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding activity programs in long-term care. Organize holiday celebrations, themed events, and family involvement initiatives to create a joyful and inclusive environment. Track attendance and engagement levels, providing reports and recommendations for program improvements. Qualifications
