Deskside Agent, Mid (IT Specialist)
Location: Washington, D.C. Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for High Public Trust As a Mid-Level Deskside Agent, you will provide in-person technical support for Treasury Department staff, addressing moderately complex IT issues to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, performing system imaging, and coordinating with escalation teams when needed. This role is integral to maintaining reliable IT operations in a fast-paced federal environment. Salary Range: 70K-85K Duties and Responsibilities Deliver in-person IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Perform software installations, updates, and hardware troubleshooting. Conduct system imaging to deploy or restore workstations. Provide warm handovers and coordinate escalated issues with senior staff. Document and track service tickets, resolutions, and activities in ServiceNow. Assist with inventory control and equipment logistics. Basic Qualifications (Required) U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for High Public Trust clearance. 18+ years of relevant IT support experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity tools. Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification. Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms. Federal government or large enterprise IT support experience. ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent training.
