Delta Pilot Pay Co-Op
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities): The Delta Pilot Pay team is seeking a highly motivated and data-curious Co-Op who is excited to leverage data to improve the Pilot Pay Experience. The Co-op will work closely with the teams responsible for ensuring pilots and pay-adjacent stakeholders receive efficient, accurate and user-friendly support in alignment with the Flight Operations pay strategy. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide analytics support in the following areas: Process Insights & Advisory - Focused on deepening understanding of the pilot pay experience and championing customer service needs for our pilots during the monthly flying schedule and pay period. Track and monitor pilot pay performance, resolution timelines, transaction accuracy and determine if there are gaps in pay support training programs. Provide analysis, research and data visualization in support of reporting pay metrics to senior leaders. Pay Analytics - Conduct ad hoc analysis to understand pay performance, identify knowledge gaps and learning opportunities for teams who influence pilot pay. Pay Experience Strategy - Support long-term strategy development to drive the future direction of the pilot pay experience. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications): + Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce. + This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters. + Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA in line with the below schedule: + Spring 2026 - 1st rotation + Fall 2026 - 2nd rotation + Summer 2027 - 3rd rotation + Commit to a 3-semester structured rotation with the same team, fostering continuity and deep collaboration throughout the co-op experience + Experience or a demonstrated interest in data analysis and coding, preferably SQL + Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, preferred, but not required + Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills + Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels + Ability to work well in teams + Currently must be enrolled full-time and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field. + Proficient with Microsoft Windows and strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
