Job Summary: As a Product Coordinator at Vari, your role requires working with the Director of Product Development and Product Team to support the day-to-day operations of our product development and product lifecycle management efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organization and cross-functional collaboration, and has a passion for great design and functional furniture. Key Responsibilities: Assist with line planning and product development, including communication of design requirements, timelines, and technical specifications with overseas and engineering teams. Maintain and update product specification sheets, pricing files, and SKU databases to ensure accuracy across systems. Track development timelines and support the project management of product launches, changes, and approvals. Collaborate with the Product Manager on product updates and direction; submit detailed notes from product and sales meetings and ensure internal systems and status sheets reflect current information. Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform product decisions. Manage sample timelines, costs, tooling, development expenses, and final product cost tracking. Research new product categories and identify opportunities based on aesthetic trends, social media, and pop culture to inspire future product concepts. Monitor the competitive landscape by visiting retail stores, reviewing online platforms, and reporting on relevant products and trends. Ensure all product-related materials meet brand guidelines and quality standards. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 13 years of experience in product coordination, merchandising, or project supportpreferably in furniture, consumer goods, or a design-focused industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be comfortable working cross-functionally with production teams, overseas factories, creative teams, and sales staff. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines related to product launches, packaging, and approvals. Proven ability to facilitate the flow of information between teams and ensure alignment across departments. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets and basic formulas. Familiarity with PLM or ERP systems is a plus. Bilingual in Taiwanese Mandarin and English is a plus. Passion for creating and developing new products.
