Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions: Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules. Reconcile cafe bank account daily activity and assure that related accounting entries are accurate, timely, and consistently recorded Prepares monthly bank reconciliations Detailed account review from direct bill and 3rd party delivery vendors Assists with inter-company monthly billing Performs and assists with balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis Resolves general ledger account discrepancies by researching, verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; Participate in month-end, quarter end and year-end closings. Assists with internal and external auditors as needed Comply with internal controls and best practices and assist in other accounting projects as requested. Efficiently communicates and works with internal departments to obtain information as required Required to maintain functions in accordance with finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standards Keeps current any departmental check list or procedures Non-essential Functions: Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times and maintains high morale. Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock. Job Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelors degree in Accounting

required , as well as minimum three (3) or more years of accounting experience Experience with journal entries, and balance sheets reconciliations required Strong Excel knowledge required Must possess excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills. Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Infinium ERP system knowledge preferred Capable of handling basic accounting concepts with minimal supervision and ability to work within deadlines Must have knowledge of, and be able to apply, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Language Skills: Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing. Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Physical Demands: Ability to move throughout the corporate office (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists. Ability to occasionally, move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds. Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
