Hog Technologies Mechanic/Service Technician Position

Embrace the opportunity to be a part of something greater with Hog Technologies. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic/Service Technician to join our team. The Mechanic/Service Technician is responsible for providing testing, repairing both on-site and off-site troubleshooting, and maintenance of Hog equipment and vehicles. The Mechanic Service Technician position is responsible for solving issues related to the HOG Trucks. The Mechanic Service Technician must be familiar with the Chassis, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Plumbing. Our ideal candidate will have a basic understanding and experience with all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair and may need to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a self-starter with a passion for automotive repairs, we want to hear from you! Specific Responsibilities Include: Operate and inspect Hog trucks to diagnose defects. Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul Hog vehicles (trucks), their engines, and assemblies, such as hydraulic and electrical systems. Maintain, repair, and rebuild Hog trucks, functional components, and parts. Examine and inspect truck components to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that vehicle is safe and ready for operation. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance. Modify systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. Inspect vehicles for wear or other defects and measure parts for wear, using precision instruments. Obtain fuel and oil samples and check them for contamination. Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with Hog Technologies specifications. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. May anticipate 10% travel.
