What You'll Do

Koalafi is on a mission to make financing simple, transparent, and accessible for everyone. We are seeking a talented Capital Markets Analyst to work closely with the SVP of Capital Markets in managing and optimizing our debt facilities, supporting investor relationships, and executing funding strategies that align with our growth and risk management goals. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the execution of critical capital markets initiatives while building deep expertise in asset-backed financing. Debt Facility Support

Assist the SVP of Capital Markets in managing Koalafi's existing asset-backed debt facilities, including monitoring compliance with financial & performance covenants and reporting requirements Prepare detailed analyses and reports to support draw requests, repayments, facility performance tracking, and KPI dashboards Analyze and forecast portfolio performance metrics, identifying potential risks and partnering with stakeholders to address them Leverage SQL and large operational datasets to build and maintain data models that improve forecasting and compliance reporting Investor & Lender Relations Support

Partner with the SVP to prepare investor and lender communications, including compliance reports, portfolio analyses, and competitor/market analyses Support the preparation of materials and analytics for investor meetings and presentations Deliver insights through clear, compelling presentations, including Tableau and Snowsight dashboards Capital Strategy Execution

Collaborate with SVP and FP&A teams to execute funding strategies that optimize origination strategy, cost of capital, and liquidity Develop scenario models and credit performance forecasts (e.g., delinquency, prepayment behavior) to inform capital planning Apply operational modeling techniques to simulate funding needs and stress-test liquidity positions Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of capital market processes Work with product and analytics teams to define and refine performance metrics, data structures, and reporting logic Improve internal systems, automate workflows, and support self-serve analytics capabilities Market & Industry Monitoring

Conduct research on capital markets, interest rate trends, funding innovations, and peer strategies Identify and present innovative funding opportunities and investor insights to senior leadership About You

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative field; MBA or CFA is a plus 35 years of experience conducting data analysis in a financial services environment, preferably with a strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and market data Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment techniques Experience building scenario models, supporting capacity forecasts, and identifying data-driven improvements Passionate about translating business concepts into data-driven insights Exceptional focus on data integrity and process rigor Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguous problems and evolving priorities Location Requirement: This position requires regular in-person attendance at our Arlington, VA office location. Candidates must already be located within a commutable distance, as relocation assistance is not available at this time Preferred Qualifications

Experience with subprime or non-prime lending capital structures Strong foundational knowledge of asset-backed lending, securitization, and debt capital markets Familiarity with operational modeling, process mapping, and reporting automation. Demonstrated experience using BI tools (e.g., Tableau) to build dashboards and track KPIs Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for debt facilities Why Choose Koalafi
