Maximum of 20 hours per week. Desired Length of Employment: Fall 2025 Academic Semester Pay Rate: $10.00 Job Description: Role- The front desk student worker serves as the first point of contact for the Honors College when people visit. This role involves providing administrative support, assisting students and visitors with their needs, and promoting an overall welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, well-spoken, and eager to assist with various tasks to ensure the Honors College Dean's Suite is running smoothly. Responsibilities: Reception Duties: Greet and assist visitors, students and faculty members. Keep a clean and presentable work space. Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as using a printer/scanner, drop off/pick up at the mailroom, assist in preparing spaces for meetings/events. Communication: Be prepared to answer Honors College related questions when students/visitors come through, as well as directing people where they need to go. Other Duties: Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Honors College staff to support the overall goals of the college. Qualifications: Enrollment: Must be enrolled in the Honors College. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and great customer service. Attributes: strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Experience: Knowledge in the Honors College as a whole, previous administrative experience is preferred but not required.
