The Town of Marana is seeking a Project Manager - CIP to work in the Public Works Department. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on designing and constructing the Town of Marana's public infrastructure projects. This position manages the design and construction phases of the Capital Improvement Program projects. The Town offers a competitive benefits package. Expected Hiring Range: $70,538.94
$88,173.38 Placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity, and/or budget Salary Range: $70,538.94 - $105,807.83 Examples Of Duties
Examples Of Duties: Develops new projects by scoping, cost estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. Prepares project submittal into the CIP program. Manages design projects by procuring and managing consultants; reviewing and tracking consultant work for compliance with the project scope; tracking project budget; accepting review of project design deliverables; and approving design changes and RFI requests Manages construction projects by overseeing the construction process, negotiating and managing contracts, tracking the budget, overseeing the construction budget, and reviewing pay applications. Coordinates with the project team, including inspectors. Completes project closeouts and warranty. Reviews project documents such as geotechnical, hydrology, environmental, and traffic study results; inspects material and contract submittals for compliance. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Over three years in civil engineering design, construction, or a related field Valid Arizona Driver License Ability to pass both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
