8:00 Am - 3:15 Pm Job Summary: Provide One-On-One Behavior And Academic Support To Students. Assist In Implementing Effective Educational Programs As Assigned By The Case Manager. Support Students With Special Needs, Including Feeding, Toileting, Positioning, And Monitoring Health Conditions. Responsabilities: Provide Instruction In Various Areas Such As Cognitive, Motor Skills, Feeding, Self-Help, And Behavior Control As Directed By The Teacher. Maintain The Health And Safety Of Physically Handicapped Students By Being Aware Of The Environment And Potential Hazards. Assist Students With Personal Hygiene, Including Washing Hands And Faces, Toileting, And Changing Diapers And Clothing As Needed. Monitor And Control Student Behavior According To Established Guidelines. Assist Specialists With Physical Development Activities. Prepare Students For Mainstreamed Classes Following Established Procedures. Attend Training And In-Services Related To Medical Interventions And Instructional Programs As Required. Assist Students With Braces And Other Orthopedic Equipment, Including Lifting And Repositioning. Maintain Records Related To Student Progress. Implement Positive Behavior Intervention Support Policies. Collaborate With Case Workers, General Education Teachers, And Other Staff As Needed. Assist Students In Social Interactions. Work Cooperatively With Others And Independently As Needed. Perform Other Duties As Required.
