Project/R&D Controller
BSH Home Appliances Corporation seeks Project/R&D Controller at its facility located at 100 Bosch Blvd., New Bern, NC 28562. Prepare project calculations and reporting for the project manager, US headquarters, BUs (Business Units), and Munich, including project expense analysis and reporting, project investment analysis and reporting, routing analysis and patrol, material cost analysis, milestone trend analysis, project status overview, reconciliation with Project Leaders, coordinate PAR (Project Application Request) process, act as a Business Partner to Development and Project Teams, steering financial requirements for the region. Serve as the financial consultant for regional Development and OM (Operations Management) strategy, developing and maintaining systems to monitor and measure the implementation of business and strategic plans. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly/quarterly/yearly RNA (Region North America) Development Centers to regional & global management. Contribute to BSH Strategic Planning Process as a Controlling partner of RNA Development. Interface with RNA Regional Controlling, GDE (Global Development), and CCA (Corporate Controlling Accounting). Consolidate monthly performance analysis for all regional Development Centers and OM departments. Responsible for Business Planning and Forecast processes of all Development, OM, and Project expenses. Analyze and evaluate the business situation to proactively identify opportunities and potential risks at an early stage. Take the financial lead for the Material Module within PIC (Performance Improvement Controlling) process, pushing DE (Development) teams to achieve ratio targets and creating accountability for large gaps to target. Support factory controlling teams in driving CIP (Continuous Improvement Processes), advise management about profitability, measures to increase profitability, ensure project reporting to headquarters in time, and perform all other duties as assigned. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Manufacturing Systems Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as Project Controller, R&D Controller, or other occupation involving development controlling, project controlling, or factory controlling. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Financial reporting and budget analysis; (2) Advanced accounting topics, foreign currency and transfer pricing; (3) BOM know how and SAP competence; (4) Essbase, PowerBI or other analytical tools; (5) Feasibility analysis; (6) Make or Buy comparisons; (7) Original equipment manufacturer studies; and (8) Return on Investment calculations. Travel Requirements: 10% Domestic Travel. Telecommuting: 100% remote. Wage Range: $99,528.00 to $147,005.00 per year.
