Engineering Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Relocation bonus Objectives of this role
Develop and track project plans for team projects in collaboration with team members Track projects from requirements definition through deployment, supporting identification of schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget Analyze project status - identify gaps or issues to team and work with team members to implement mitigation plans and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing regular (weekly, monthly) updates on project status and changes Responsibilities
Maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle - measure against quality and performance standards and assess risks Develop and maintain partnerships with cross-functional resources, including vendors Monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables - identify gaps to management team Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan Required skills and qualifications
Four or more years of project management experience Experience in managing cross-functional operation or technology/equipment development projects Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines Proven success working with cross-functional teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Good presentation skills Preferred skills and qualifications
Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Experience in managing multiple complex automation projects simultaneously Compensation: $135,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
