Allocations Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Allocations Reporting Analyst to join our Engineering and Operations Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and report on consolidated allocations, ensuring accuracy and transparency across segments and products. You'll partner closely with finance and operational teams to analyze allocation drivers, optimize cost pool logic, and deliver actionable insights to management. Key responsibilities include: preparing comprehensive monthly segment reports by expense and cost pool, providing clear explanations for shifts between segments; monitoring product cost allocation and explaining changes resulting from cost pool allocation drivers; developing and updating allocation outlooks by segment and product; maintaining and updating allocation drivers in PDAI; building robust models to streamline and enhance allocation reporting processes; evaluating and adjusting cost pool allocation logic based on operational changes; providing analytical support and impact assessments to management for any proposed changes; documenting and regularly updating allocation logic for each cost pool; and supporting ad hoc projects as needed. Skills and requirements include experience with Essbase/SmartView, strong data modeling expertise, advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel, including PowerPivot, Power Query, and Cube formulas, excellent presentation and communication skills, and a detail-oriented continuous improvement mindset. Education/experience includes a bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired, 5+ years of related experience, and certification is required in some areas. Our Lead Financial Analysis earns between $118,800 - $178,200. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
