Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for First Quality Consumer Products located in McElhattan, PA. This position will be responsible for administering and coordinating Accounts Payable related activities to ensure that goals and/or objectives of Accounts Payable are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews all payable invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and adherence to the company policy. Coordinates with all internal departments to understand the source of the specific payable activity and provides support to these departments regarding questions on any payable activities. Establishes and maintains effective communications with vendors and all internal departments. Reviews reports on a timely basis. Reviews/researches all questions from vendors and provides timely answers as needed. Data entry of payable invoices with purchase orders. Works with automation of AP invoices through RPA program. Processes payment for utilities including waste, landfill, and energy resources. Performs various clerical duties associated with payables. Compiles and maintains information and records to prepare spreadsheets. Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. The Ideal Candidates Should Possess the Following: Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent preferred. 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable or related field, preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to cross train and develop new skills.
