Program Director, Compliance Operations And Project Management - Hybrid
This role is hybrid, remote and in office at Texas Health Resources Corporate Offices at 612 E Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011, and is Exempt (salaried), full-time. What You Will Do:
Responsible for the organization, oversight, maintaining the effectiveness of the THR Business Ethics and Compliance Program core processes including: Overseeing the operation of the THR Compliance Helpline including policies, procedures, and protocols; data analysis; development of reports; etc., including taking calls and performing follow-ups, as appropriate. Overseeing and carrying out independent investigations on matters related to compliance and/or response to reports of possible compliance issues. Participating in evaluation of internal controls to see that processes are in place capable of detecting significant instances or patterns of unethical conduct by employees, agents, or contractors. Serving in a consultative capacity with respect to incidents that may arise at the entity level requiring investigation, follow-up, and resolution. Assisting in responding to inquiries or investigations from external agencies. Implementing compliance monitoring activities in coordination with System Compliance colleagues and assurance service departments. Maintaining incident tracking system and preparing reports (e.g. completion, trending, quality, etc.) Assisting Director, Compliance and Privacy, and other department Directors with formulation of annual THR system and entity level compliance work plans focused on continuous improvement of processes in identified risk areas. Carrying out the periodic risk assessment processes and evaluating results in those areas identified as high risk. Overseeing ongoing sanction and exclusionary screening processes, reporting, and as required, assisting in the remediation of identified sanctioned employees, providers, and/or vendors. Assisting Director, Compliance and Privacy, in the creation and coordination of quarterly THR Compliance Council agenda and meeting materials. Developing and implementing education focused on identified business processes to mitigate the risk of noncompliance in areas vulnerable to error or noncompliance such as billing, coding, Stark laws, fraud & abuse laws, false claims, or other identified risk areas. Participating in workgroups and other forums appropriate to facilitate communication and awareness of the Business Ethics and Compliance Program. Performing research and providing guidance on Business Ethics and Compliance matters to employees and management. Overseeing a multi-faceted educational program that focuses on the elements of the compliance and privacy program for new and existing workforce members including certain independent contractors. Working with internal stakeholders in the coordination and oversight of the THR Identity Theft Prevention Program. Creation and revision of compliance operations program in accordance with the seven recognized elements of an effective compliance program. 50% Program And Project Management:
Lead and manage System Compliance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project objectives. Monitors the performance of the compliance programs and related activities on a continuing basis and recommends improvements/changes to improve effectiveness. Responsible for the preparation of regular reports, to the Director, Compliance and Privacy, detailing compliance initiatives, accomplishments, trends, statistical data, etc. Ongoing development and oversight of processes to maintain accurate documentation and records of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, audit findings, corrective actions, etc. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance efforts. Monitors and evaluates changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, assessing their impact on compliance practices and procedures. Leads and oversees the preparation and implementation of the annual compliance communication and education plans. Prepares and assists in conducting education for any applicable areas for which Compliance education efforts have been identified. 50% Compliance:
Undertake special projects and support other compliance initiatives as needed. What You Need:
Education:
Master's Degree Masters degree in healthcare, business, or another applicable field. Req Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or related field, with a proven track record of managing compliance projects. Req Minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience. Req Experience with compliance management systems and software tools. Req Escalating responsibility and experience in the area of project management is required. PMP certificate in lieu of escalating responsibility/experience. Req Previous healthcare consulting experience preferred. Pref Licenses and Certifications:
PMP - Project Management Professional Certification Upon Hire Pref CHC - Certified in Healthcare Compliance Upon Hire Pref Or CHC - Certified in Healthcare Compliance 12 Months of Hire Date Req Skills:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
