Opening in 2025! When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking a Senior Pharmacy Tech (Full Time). Our ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Pharmacy department. Pharmacy Technicians assist in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and the maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technician's function in accordance with the standard written procedures, guidelines and State and Federal regulations. Qualifications Requirements: Associate's Degree from an accredited Technical School, College or University preferred Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the District of Columbia 5 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting preferred Some travel may be required Skills: Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology Ability to adapt to changing priorities Proficient with Microsoft Office Good interpersonal skills Effective communications skills, both verbal and written EEO Statement: All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
