Supervisor, Water Treatment and Reclamation Team

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our dynamic Operations team at the new wastewater plant. As a supervisor for our 24/7 Operations team, you will lead a team of approximately 10-20 technicians, spread across day and night shifts. In support of these efforts, the Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) Engineering Team is growing. Here's what you'll be responsible for: Coach, mentor, and provide development opportunities for each member of the Operations team through a collaborative career mapping approach that also supports Samsung's organizational objectives. Lead conflict resolution within a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration across the team, department, and company. Support the team to prioritize daily tasks, approving and prioritizing external support requests. In collaboration with our Engineering team, define both the technological and people roadmap for our site. Monitoring system performance, while also finding opportunities for safety, quality, or cost improvements. Maintaining and improving existing Standard Operating Procedures including the certification documentation and process. Confers with other Supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Monitors performance metrics, identifies positive and negative fluctuations, and escalates to appropriate parties if deviations occur. Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll bring to Samsung: 2-year degree preferred, or commensurate 4-year work experience minimum 4+ years of experience in an industrial facilities environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience in leading and managing technicians within a facilities environment Familiarity with Ultrapure Water and Industrial Wastewater technology (BIG PLUS) 6+ years of experience in a facilities environment Strong technical background
with particular ability to understand, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial process systems NOTE: This position is full-time onsite. The current base salary range for this role is between $83,157 and $141,367. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. At Samsung SAS, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
