Industrial Wastewater Engineering Team Lead

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Industrial Wastewater Engineering Team Lead to join our dynamic Operations team at the new wastewater plant. In support of these efforts, the Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) Engineering Team is growing. Role and Responsibilities: Sustain transparent and frequent communication with the engineering supervisor (TR) and technical lead (TL) on water projects. Lead and execute on critical projects that support operations and IWT improvements. Coach and mentor less experienced project managers to share your knowledge, talent, and skills. Support of instrumentation, maintenance, and operations groups in day-to-day project management tasks. Provide technical guidance to contracted design teams during facility construction design for review and approval of mechanical connections and materials of construction. Creation and development of structured execution plans for field improvements and repair work. Review standard operating procedures, PLC programming changes, and other administrative tasks. Lead facilities wide task-force teams to develop more efficient practices and processes. Confidently interface with the internal customers onsite. Interfacing with site Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS teams to audit that existing piping, equipment, and secondary containment meets applicable codes and standards. Interface between Construction General Contractor, Subcontractor, Consultant Design Team, and various SAS Owner organizations. Demonstrate strong leadership skills required to interface with stakeholders across Manufacturing and Engineering organizations and to interface with design consultants to meet the aggressive goals and timelines during all aspects of the project. Skills and Qualifications: B.S. in engineering field preferred or commiserate experience. 8+ years of experience in an Engineering environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong data analysis skills. NOTE: This position is full-time onsite. Total Rewards: At Samsung SAS, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
