Glidewell Dental Position
Position at Glidewell Dental Essential Functions: Manages day-to-day results reporting and visualization through research and analysis of data. Analyzes data to discover and interpret trends, patterns, and relationships. Develops and provides effective and strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data. Utilizes software and numerous reporting technologies to define metrics, develop actionable recommendations, and identify process improvement opportunities. Works cross-functionally to establish instrumentation and reporting standards. Creates customized dashboards and reports to communicate KPI's and actionable data, ensuring information is presented in a manner that will facilitate management's understanding of the results and impacts. Develops, implements, enhances and maintains reports and dashboards. Locates and extract data from new data sources, finds new uses for existing data sources, structures and drives new data collection efforts, and provides recommendations on scaling new methods more broadly through the organization. Reviews data quality to provide guidance and controls to upstream data providers and sources. Communicates with Data Analyst team members on findings, solutions, and recommendations. Participates in the on-call support rotation. Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned department to: Create and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards/reports to measure department effectiveness. Document department/business critical reports. Build rapport with department managers, stake holders, and users to provide expert advice. Leads meetings and provides company and departmental insights and statistics. Finds solutions to business-critical questions and requests independently and in a timely manner. Works with stakeholders/management in the planning, strategizing, and measurement of both short and long term business objectives. Provides training and technical assistance to internal team members. Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields. Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience. Experience in a statistical scripting language such as TSQL, R, or Python. Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation. Experience with medium to high volume parcel data. Experience with international parcel operations. Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
